So a very cool digi designer at Designer Digitals named Mary Ann Wise shared a free font-making site with the creative team recently. I couldn't resist trying my hand (haha) at creating a few of my own fonts. Here's what I've come up with so far:
I know some are very similar, but there are a few differences in either spacing or how certain characters look. I think my favorites are Lindy Ann, Lindy Joe (these two are very similar) and Lindy Kay. I've been playing around with some others that look really different, and as soon as I'm done with those, I'll be sure to post them as well.
A couple of the gals on the DD team have already used my Lindy Ann font on layouts that they've posted which I think is really cool! The site is down temporarily as DD is moving to a new server so I'll have to post links later. I'm working on an Easter layout with one of the fonts as well, but it's not finished just yet.
And if you would like any of these fonts, just drop me a note in the comments section, and I'll gladly send any or all of them your way. :) Even better, you can try your hand at creating your own fonts at this site. According to the site owners, it will be free just a while longer - then there will be some kind of small fee to pay to create fonts. So hurry on over if you're interested and definitely let me know if you create some fonts of your own.
Also, I wanted to show the last two layouts I created for DD. Here's little Emma with straight hair - eek!
And here is little Ryan - several years ago!
This is a very clean, graphic design - totally out of the box for me, but it was fun to do something different for a change. I love to make my digi layouts look like paper, but sometimes it's nice to change it up. ;)
And as I head to bed finally, I have to admit that I'm a little worried about the darn Conficker virus that's supposed to be running rampant starting tomorrow. Ugh. I just can't believe that there are such jerks out there who purposefully do things like this. I'm running a last scan on my system, and I've updated all that I can. Hopefully, this thing will have more bark than bite. Good luck to everyone!
Wonderful layouts, and really like your fonts. Thanks for linking us up!

I absolutely love your layouts, and I love your fonts too. I'm a font junkie I think. I should get my handwriting into one so that I have it.
